White House releases VP Kamala Harris's medical report: 'excellent health'
Trump's last health update was in November 2023, at which time his personal doctor, Bruce Aronwald, stated in a letter that Trump's "overall health is excellent."
The White House released the medical report of Vice President Kamala Harris on Saturday, stating that she is in "excellent health."
"Vice President Harris remains in excellent health," Harris's physician wrote, according to Fox News. "She possesses the physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief."
Harris is the Democratic nominee for president and was endorsed by President Joe Biden after he ended his re-election campaign earlier this year.
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was asked to release his medical records and told CBS News that he had a "perfect score" when it came to health and that he would "gladly" release them, but so far he has not done so.
Harris's Army physician, Dr. Joshua R. Simmons, referred to the vice president's health as "unremarkable" and said she had a very healthy lifestyle as she campaigns for office.
Harris's medical records were released following a New York Times report that said the 78-year-old Trump had not been transparent with his health.
Trump's last health update was in November 2023, at which time his personal doctor, Bruce Aronwald, stated in a letter that Trump's "overall health is excellent" and that "His physical exams were well within the normal range and his cognitive exams were exceptional."
