Karoline Leavitt, White House press secretary, responded to an ESPN report that President Donald Trump told Washington Commanders' owners he was interested in having their new stadium named after him.

Trump is attending the Commanders verses Detroit Lions game at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland on Sunday where U.S. veterans are going to be honored at halftime.

“That would surely be a beautiful name, as it was President Trump who made the rebuilding of the new stadium possible,” said Leavitt.

The Associated Press reported that the team had no comment on the report and D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser's office hasn't commented.
