White House: 13-year-old honorary Secret Service agent has three new tumors
Daniel was made a Secret Service agent after the president found out that the teenager wanted to be a police officer, and he has been made an honorary law enforcement officer at over 1,300 locations.
The White House on Friday shared an uplifting message for 13-year-old DJ Daniel, who was named an honorary Secret Service agent earlier this year, and revealed the cancer survivor has three new tumors.
President Donald Trump put the spotlight on the 13-year-old during his joint address to Congress in March when he revealed Daniel had been battling cancer since 2018. He was initially given just five months to live.

"We’re lifting up Agent DJ Daniel in prayer after his dad, Theodis, shared that DJ is now facing three new tumors," the White House posted to X. "DJ is one of the strongest, bravest young men—and has now been sworn into 1,351 law enforcement agencies across the country. Agent Daniel, you're a true legend."
Daniel's father shared that his son had three new tumors earlier this month, but said the young teen has remained "happy," and "vibrant." He did not specify where the new tumors are located.
"Just winging it day by day. He does have three new tumors," Theodis Daniel said. "It's rough, there isn't a class that can teach you how to deal with it. You're hearing that your child has a nasty disease."
House Speaker Mike Johnson reacted to the news by sharing that he was also praying for the 13-year-old.
"We are praying for you, DJ. Your courage, strength, and patriotism are an inspiration to us all," Johnson posted to X. "Keep fighting and know that America stands with you!"
