Crews started removing signage bearing President Donald Trump’s name at the Kennedy Center early Saturday with tarps covering the area.

A court-imposed deadline required references to Trump to be removed from the building by Friday.

Workers first installed scaffolding around the section displaying Trump’s name on Friday.

After midnight, the Kennedy Center asked the court to extend the deadline until noon Saturday, citing weather issues.

Overnight, workers had covered portions of the scaffolding with tarps and began the removal work.

Around 3:30 a.m., crews had left the site, but the tarps remained in place, making it unclear whether Trump's name was fully removed.

The Kennedy Center confirmed on Saturday that Trump's name has been removed from the exterior.
