A sizable portion of President Donald Trump's 2024 voting bloc says they are worse off financially since he returned to the White House, according to a recent survey.

Overall, 24% of Trump 2024 voters said they were worse off financially since January 2025, according to FocalData. Another 41% said they were better off and 35% reported no change.

Among Harris voters, just 6% said they were better off, while 79% said they were worse off and 15% reported no change.

The results come as the Iran war continues into its seventh month, with few signs of an upcoming conclusion. Since its beginning, Trump has steadily lost ground in terms of public approval, both overall and on the economy specifically.

Overall, 35% of Americans either strongly or somewhat approved of Trump's performance in office. A further 10% were unsure, while 55% either somewhat or strongly disapproved of him.

Conducted Aug. 7-11, the survey questioned 2,152 U.S. adults.
