Senate passes government funding bill
The Senate has passed the last-minute $1.7 trillion bill to keep the government funded. The current funding plan is set to expire at the end of day Friday. The bill now moves on to the House of Representatives for a vote, where if approved, will be sent to President Biden to sign into law.
