Senator Ben Sasse plans to resign post to become president of university
GOP Senator Ben Sasse announced plans to take a new job as President of the University of Florida. Sasse will have to undergo a rigorous process to land the job. If Sasse passes the vetting test, he will resign from the US Senate by the end of the year.
