Israel has rejected President Donald Trump’s 15-point plan for Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday, declaring that Israeli forces will not withdraw from the territory until Hamas is fully disarmed.

Netanyahu announced the decision during a cabinet meeting.

“Israel rejects the 15-point document,” Netanyahu said, referring to the proposal developed by Trump’s Board of Peace and endorsed by Hamas last month.

Netanyahu said Israel’s military would not carry out a withdrawal until Hamas is “genuinely disarmed” and would continue taking action against threats to Israeli forces and civilians.
