Strong 6.5-magnitude earthquake strikes Russia's Far East
A 6.5-magnitude earthquake was recorded off the coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia’s far east on Monday afternoon, April 3. The European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said the quake struck 27 kilometres southwest of the regional capital Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
