Iranian state media confirmed the killing.
Israel on Monday claimed the killing of the Iranian paramilitary Revolutionary Guard's top intelligence official, Maj. Gen. Majid Khademi.
Iranian state media confirmed the killing.
“Iran’s leaders live with a sense of being targeted. We will continue to hunt them down one by one," said Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, according to the Associated Press.
The U.S. and Israel began air strikes on Iran on Feb. 28, following failed efforts, led by the Trump administration, to reach a deal with Tehran to curb its pursuit of a nuclear weapon. Several top leaders in Iran's theocratic government have been killed in the attacks including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
