The autism center run by a woman who appeared in a video with Minnesota Democratic Senate candidate Peggy Flanagan while she defended the Somali community is being investigated for fraud. 

The Milestone Development Center, operated by Nimco Ahmed, is being investigated along with the Spectrum Therapy Center, Alpha News reported. 

In the video, Flanagan, who was wearing a hijab, described Ahmed as a "friend for almost 25 years." Flanagan defended the Somali community, saying it "is part of the fabric of the state of Minnesota."

A spokesperson for the Minnesota Department of Human Services told Fox News that the two agencies are being investigated. Several months ago, according to the spokesperson, the DHS terminated both agencies form participating in the Medicaid program as part of Minnesota Revalidate 2026, which is a process to verify that agencies have required credentials and are otherwise compliant with state and federal regulations." 

Both agencies have appealed their termination, the spokesperson said.
