DoorDash is reportedly in the advanced stages of discussing a purchase of Instacart, in an estimated $17 billion deal that could take place as early as this week.
The exact price tag was not clear, but a source told Reuters on Monday that the deal would value the grocery-delivery platform at about $17 billion. The deal could be finalized on Wednesday, but there is no guarantee it will come together.
