President Donald Trump on Thursday repeated his endorsement of Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., as he faces a primary challenger with the support of Gov. Bill Lee, R-Tenn.

"Congressman Andy Ogles is doing a fantastic job representing the incredible people of Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District!" Trump posted on Truth Social. "Andy is a Conservative Warrior who has strong support from his Community."

"Andy Ogles my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election. Election Day for the Republican Primary is TODAY," he added.

Ogles is facing off against former state Agriculture Commissioner Charlie Hatcher, who has positioned himself as a Trump supporter, despite running against Trump's preferred pick. Gov. Bill Lee, R-Tenn., has also backed Hatcher.

Trump also endorsed the sitting slate of Tennessee House members for reelection, including Reps. Chuck Felischmann, Tim Burchett, Diana Harshbarger, Scott DesJarlais, Matt Van Epps, and Dustin Kustoff. State Sen. Brent Taylor is seeking the nomination for the 9th District and also secured Trump's backing.
