A high-speed train slammed into the back of another train that was stopped on the tracks in central Spain on Wednesday, killing at least 30 people, according to authorities.
The collision derailed two cars and was the second major train accident this year in Spain, the Associated Press reported.
Emiliano García-Page, regional president of the Spanish community of Castilla La Mancha, said that, in addition to the 30 people killed in the accident, at least 80 were injured.
