Iranian forces reportedly fired upon and took custody of two trade vessels in the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday.

One of the container ships was Panama-flagged, and the other is Liberia-flagged. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps are bringing the ships to Iran, according to Fox News citing Iranian state media reports.

Iran also reportedly fired on a third vessel, which wasn't seized. The attacks on the ships were first reported by the United Kingdom Maritime Operations, which reported the Iranian ships had caused significant damage to the bridge of one of the ships.
