Kickboxer Andrew Tate put under house arrest following allegations of human trafficking
DIICOT alleges the Tate and his brother exploited 34 victims to make pornography online for free and generated over $2 million as a result.
Internet personality and kickboxer Andrew Tate was placed under house arrest for 30 days after more allegations of human trafficking were brought forth.
Tate, his brother and four others were detained in Romania after four homes were raided. Prosecutors requested that the Bucharest Tribunal that the Tate brothers be in custody for 30 days.
Romania’s anti-organized crime agency DIICOT is investigating new human trafficking allegations against Tate, some of which include trafficking minors, according to The Associated Press.
DIICOT alleges that Tate and his brother exploited 34 victims to make pornography online for free and generated over $2 million as a result.
Tate's spokesperson said the brothers deny the allegations.
The brothers had allegations of rape, human trafficking and organized brought against them by the Romanian government.
