Police identify Lakewood Church shooter

The suspect behind Sunday's shooting at Pastor Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church in Houston has been identified as Genesse Ivonne Moreno, 36.

Moreno entered the Texas church on Sunday with her seven-year-old son and opened fire with an AR-15 rifle, resulting in a shootout with off-duty police officers, ABC News reported, citing Houston Police Chief Troy Finner. Moreno's son sustained a gunshot wound to the head and is in critical condition.

The shooter's AR-15 bore a sticker with the words "Palestine" written on it, though authorities have not identified Moreno's motive.

A 57-year-old bystander was also shot in the incident but has since been discharged from the hospital.
