Shooting in Atlanta area leaves 4 dead, suspect named, investigation ongoing

A shooting in the Atlanta, Georgia, area on Saturday has left four people dead, according to reports. 

Henry County government spokesperson Melissa Robinson confirmed to The Associated Press that at least four people are deceased. 

Authorities are still searching for the shooter as of now. Andre Longmore, a 40-year-old from Hampton, Georgia, has been named as the suspect, and he is believed to be armed and dangerous, Hampton Police Chief James Turner said during a news conference.

The Hampton Police Department is working with the Henry County Police Department on this investigation.
