Shooting at Philadelphia bus stop leaves 8 injured
Surveillance footage showed three people leave the vehicle while the driver remained behind.
Eight high school students sustained gunshot wounds during a shooting at a Philadelphia bus stop on Wednesday.
Thus far, the incident has resulted in no fatalities, though one victim was shot nine times and was critically wounded, the Associated Press reported, citing Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel. At least 30 shots went off during the episode, which saw multiple suspects arrive in a car and open fire. The victims were subsequently hospitalized.

Wednesday's episode marks the fourth shooting involving the city's transit system in the past week. The three other incidents all resulted in fatalities.
