Shootings at and around a Tennessee nightclub left one person dead and 10 people injured, the Memphis Police Department said Sunday.
Officers responded to a shooting shortly before 12:45 a.m. Sunday at the Live Lounge, where they found two shooting victims in critical condition, the department said. The victims were transported to Regional One Hospital.
Five additional victims in non-critical condition left the scene and went to local hospitals independently, officials said.
Law enforcement received information about another shooting about a mile down the street. When they arrived on the scene, they found a deceased male victim and three more victims in critical condition who were also transported to the Regional One Hospital.
The crime scenes are believed to be connected, officials said.
"At this point it is unclear of what occurred prior to the shooting," the Memphis department said. "There is no solid description of the suspect(s). It is unknown if the suspect(s) are known to the victims."
