Two officers injured in Philadelphia shooting near house fire: Report

Two police officers sustained gunshot wounds Wednesday while responding to reports of an active shooter.
Officers responded to a call around 3:45 p.m. that someone had shot at an 11-year-old girl, whose status remains unclear, Fox News reported. The gunman opened fire upon their arrival. Both officers have been hospitalized and are in stable condition.
The Delaware County District Attorney's Office told the network's local affiliate that it had "no independent knowledge" of the alleged child victim.
