Singer Tony Bennett dies at 96

Twenty-time grammy winning musician Tony Bennett passed away at 96. 

Bennett's publicist Sylvia Weiner confirmed the singer's death Friday morning to the Associated Press.

Bennett died in his hometown in New York. 

As of now, the cause of his death is not known. 

Some of Bennett's hit songs include "New York State of Mind" and "Rags to Riches."

He is survived by his wife, four children and two grandchildren.
