Coco Gauff defeats Aryna Sabalenka to win French Open

Professional tennis player Coco Gauff won the French Open against No. 1 ranked Aryna Sabalenka in women’s final on Saturday.

Gauff, who won the 2023 US Open, is the first American since Serena Williams in 2015 to win at Roland Garros, and only the third this century, according to CNN.

Gauff, 21, is also the youngest American to win the French Open since Williams.
