Comedian Leslie Jordan dies in car crash

Comedian Leslie Jordan died on Monday in a Los Angeles car crash at the age of 67.

The details of the crash remain unknown, though authorities confirmed to Fox News that a car accident had occurred shortly before 9:00 a.m. and that they had responded to the incident.

Jordan's agent, David Shaul, recalled his experience working with him and said the comedian had brought happiness to people struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic.

 "The world is definitely a much darker place today without the love and light of Leslie Jordan," Shaul told Fox. "Not only was he a mega talent and joy to work with, but he provided an emotional sanctuary to the nation at one of it's most difficult times."

Jordan was best known for his roles in "Hearts Afire," "Will & Grace," "American Horror Story," and "The Cool Kids." During the COVID-19 pandemic, he achieved renewed acclaim for his activity on social media.
