'Goodfellas' actor Paul Sorvino dead at 83
Sorvino's publicist the actor died of natural causes Monday morning in Indiana
Hollywood actor Paul Sorvino – known for his roles in such hits as "Goodfellas" – died Monday. He was 83.

Sorvino's publicist Roger Neal said the actor, known for playing criminals and cops alike throughout his career, died in Indiana of natural causes.
He spent more than 50 years in the entertainment industry, with roles ranging from Henry Kissinger in Oliver Stone’s "Nixon" to a mob boss in "The Rocketeer" and an Italian American communist in Warren Beatty's "Reds."
He also acted in the long-running "Law & Order" TV series.
The 6-foot-4-inch Sorvino said his passions were opera, poetry and painting.
He was born in Brooklyn in 1939 and made his debut on broadway 25 years later in "Bajour."
He is survived by his wife and three children, including his daughter, actress Mira Sorvino.
