Podcaster Joe Rogan said he hopes people realize "serious errors were made" during the COVID-19 pandemic and that they should "vote Republican" to prevent it from happening again.

Rogan discussed the pandemic with NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Saturday's "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast.

The two poked fun of California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom's COVID policies before Rogan said: "I hope there are lessons learned in this."

The podcast host explained how no one who is alive today experienced a real pandemic before COVID and now he hopes people will "recognize that some serious errors were made and not repeat those."

"So what do you tell those people?" Rogers asked Rogan.

"Vote Republican," Rogan quickly responded before going on to praise the pandemic policies of Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis.
