Tito Jackson, Michael Jackson's brother, Jackson 5 member, dead at 70

Tito Jackson, Michael Jackson's brother and a member of the iconic Jackson 5 band, died Sunday. He was 70.

The singer and guitarist died of an apparent heart attack while driving, former Jackson family manager Steve Manning said.

No official cause of death has been given, the New York Post reported.

Jackson's sons, Taj, Taryll and TJ, confirmed their father's death in an Instagram post Sunday. The sons said they were "shocked, saddened and heartbroken" by their father's sudden passing.

"It's with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson is no longer with us," the sons wrote on the official page for their R&B group 3T. "We are shocked, saddened and heartbroken."
