Popular child entertainer Rachel "Ms. Rachel" Accurso is advocating for closing the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center in Dilley, Texas.

Accurso, a public supporter of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani who has been outspoken about the war in Gaza, is now turning to anti-ICE causes, according to NBC News.

She recently participated in video calls with migrant children who are being held at the Dilley detention center.

NBC reported that Accurso said she is working with lawyers and immigration rights activists “to close Dilley and make sure that kids and their parents are back in their communities where they belong.”
