Black Friday spending hits record $10.8 billion online

Mastercard revealed that retail sales increased 3.4% compared to last year.

U.S. consumers spent a record $10.8 billion online on Black Friday, according to Adobe Analytics.

The group said the total amounted to about $11.3 million spent per minute between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday.

According to NBC News, the prices of products like electronics were the lowest "since at least July."

Mastercard revealed that retail sales increased 3.4% compared to last year.
