A Florida woman was stabbed 14 times in front of her young child allegedly by a pizza delivery woman upset about a bad tip.

The incident occurred late Sunday night at a motel in Kissimmee but is being reported Friday based on documents obtained by local new outlets.

The victim was stabbed in the arms, chest, legs and abdomen and needed surgery for a ruptured lung, according to documents obtained by NBC affiliate WESH-2.

The victim's boyfriend told deputies he was at the motel with his girlfriend and her daughter to celebrate his birthday, the news outlet also reports. They reportedly ordered a pizza that cost $33.10.

The victim reportedly gave Alvelo $50 in cash and asked for change. When the woman told Alvelo she didn't have any change, the woman searched her wallet and car for smaller bills and ended up tipping Alvelo $2.

A short time later, a male and female allegedly returned  in masks forced their way into the motel room with a gun.

They allegedly started rummaging through the victim's belongs and her 5-year-old's Nintendo Switch.

The victim said the stabbings began when she turned away from the masked woman, later identified as Alvelo, to shield her daughter.
