Nebraska Gov. Pillen hospitalized after being thrown from horse

Nebraska GOP Gov. Jim Pillen was injured Sunday while horse-riding and is expected to be hospitalized for several days as a result of his injures, according to news reports.

The 68-year-old governor was thrown while riding horses with his family, according to the governor's office.

Pillen, in his first term, is “alert and is in continuous touch with his team,” his office also said in a statement
