Two people were shot on Friday in Philadelphia, during the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX victory parade, CBS News reported.

The two women, who have not been publicly identified but have been described as a 20-year-old and 27-year-old, are in stable condition. The 20-year-old was reportedly shot in her upper left thigh, and the 27-year-old was shot in her left leg.

No arrests in the shooting have been made so far, and no weapons have been found. But an investigation into the incident is still ongoing. Philadelphia police said the incident occurred in the city's Spring Garden neighborhood, near the end of the parade.

Deputy Police Commissioner Frank Vanore told the Philadelphia Inquirer that the women were shot by a man in an Eagles jersey, following an argument near apartment buildings. No witnesses reportedly heard the gunshots.

The parade was to celebrate the Philadelphia Eagles defeating the Kansas City Chiefs for its second Super Bowl title on Sunday. Philadelphia officials claimed they were expecting over one million people for the parade, per Newsweek.
