The streaming service Netflix on Tuesday announced that the global viewership of the boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul last week made it the "most-streamed sporting event ever."

The company said the sporting event peaked at 65 million live concurrent streams, and 108 million total live viewers globally. The Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor fight, which occurred before the Tyson-Paul match, was the most-watched professional women’s sports event in U.S. history, the service said.

The record numbers come despite the service receiving heavy backlash over its production quality and streaming capability. Fans claimed they experienced frequent buffering issues, resulting in them having to restart the fight multiple times throughout the night. Other fans reported that they lost sound.

The match, which aired live, also reached number one in 78 countries including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, South Africa, the U.K. and the U.S., and made it into the Top 10 in 91 other countries last week.
