Families Against Fentanyl Founder says gov't has failed on drug crisis, wants fentanyl classified as 'weapon of mass destruction'

On this episode of the podcast, Jim Rauh, the founder of Families Against Fentanyl discussed the devastating impact of the synthetic opioid drug, particularly the death of his son Tommy in 2015.

Fentanyl, often manufactured in China, is highly potent, cheap and a kilo is capable of killing 500,000 people. Raugh highlights the U.S. government’s failure to address fentanyl as a ‘weapon of mass destruction,’ noting that only 10% of shipments are detected. Furthermore, Rauh warned of fentanyl’s potential to contaminate food, water and air supplies which poses a significant threat to our national security, humanity, and wildlife.
