Democrat turned Republican warns ex-party that it has drifted too far left

Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ), a former Democrat turned Republican, comments on the recent leak of the Dobbs SCOTUS opinion and discusses his recent op-ed piece which asked the question to moderate Democrats, “where the hell have you been for the last few years?” The Congressman states that the “alleged moderates” have sat by while the Biden Administration has pushed the party further to the left, saying “how can you say you’re a moderate and go along with all of this stuff”. The Congressman addresses that people who wish to change the culture in America can do so by voting “people in office who really do care, who want to restore the sanctity of America,” and who believe in “American-exceptionalism.”
