Dr. Alveda King: Pro-life movement 'very excited' about overturning Roe, prepared to offer support to families

A pro-choice activist tries to block a pro-life activist during a rally in front of the U.S. Supreme Court in response to the leaked Supreme Court draft decision to overturn Roe v. Wade May 3, 2022 in Washington, DC.

Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and founder of the pro-life organization Civil Rights for the Unborn, explained how the pro-life movement has not been caught by surprise following the leaked Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe v. Wade, which will allow states to make their own abortion laws. She added that there are "more pregnancy care centers than abortion mills in America," and churches are also prepared to help mothers, their children, and fathers with alternatives to abortion.
