‘Great again!’ Trump’s Thanksgiving message hints at rematch with Biden

Former President Donald Trump declared in a Thanksgiving Day message that America “will be great again,” harkening a famous campaign slogan that stoked hopes he might challenge Joe Biden in a 2024 rematch.

"A very interesting time in our Country, but do not worry, we will be great again—and we will all do it together," the ex-president said in the statement Thursday.

“America will never fail, and we will never allow it to go in the wrong direction,” he added. “Too many generations of greatness are counting on us. Enjoy your Thanksgiving knowing that a wonderful future lies ahead!"

Trump’s statement came days after White House press secretary Jen Psaki said President Biden plans to run for re-election.

Trump has said he’s thinking about running again in 2024 but probably will wait until after the midyear elections to make a final decision.
