Hungarian leader says Trump is the man who can 'save the western world'

Orbán said that he believes that Trump is the leader who could end the war in Ukraine, says indictments ripped from Communist playbook.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said during a recent sit-down interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson that Donald Trump is the man to save the western world.

"Call back Trump," Orbán said during the interview. "Call back Trump. That's the only way out. He did not initiate any new war. Trump is the man who can save the Western world.”

He said that he believes that Trump is the leader who could end the war in Ukraine.

“The Russians are far stronger, far more numerous than the Ukrainians,” Orbán said. “Call back Trump."

During the interview, Orbán slammed the multiple indictments against Trump, referring to them as communist tactics.

“To use the justice system against the political opponents — in Hungary, I think it’s impossible to imagine,” he said, according to The Associated Press. “That was done by the Communists. It’s a very Communist methodology to do that.”

Trump currently faces four indictments, with two of them being federal.
