Melania Trump will be a producer and featured in a new Amazon Prime documentary

Amazon Prime obtained an exclusive license to the documentary on the once and soon to be again First Lady. Filming began this past month and comes just months after her first ever book, “Melania,” was released.

Melania Trump will be featured in and a producer of a new documentary that promises to be an “unprecedented behind-the-scenes look” at her life. 

Amazon Prime obtained an exclusive license to the documentary on the once and soon to be again first lady. Filming began this past month and comes just months after her first ever book, “Melania,” was released, according to the New York Post.   

“Prime Video will be sharing more details on the project as filming progresses and release plans are finalized. We are excited to share this truly unique story with our millions of customers around the world,” an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement. 

The Slovenian-born former supermodel, 54, will be a producer while Brett Ratner will direct. He has worked on movies like “X-Men: The Last Stand” and “Rush Hour.” 

Ratner was caught up in controversy during the MeToo movement, according to The Post. Multiple women made accusations against him. He has denied the accusations. 

Amazon was founded by Jeff Bezos, owner of The Washington Post who reportedly still owns about 10% of Amazon. He famously went to visit Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago after the 2024 election, and he has pledged $1 million to the Trump inaugural fund. 

Melania has said she wants to focus on her child welfare “Be Best” initiative, as she did during the first Trump administration.  

“My focus would continue to be creating a safe and nurturing space for children to learn, grow and thrive,” she told Fox News regarding her plans for her second term as first lady.
