One America News Network (OANN), a conservative television network, retracted a story about an alleged affair between former President Trump’s ex-attorney Michael Cohen and porn actor Stormy Daniels.

The since removed story had attributed the allegation to a “whistleblower” who said Michael Avanetti, Daniels’s former attorney, informed him of the affair.

OANN said the story would be removed from the company's website and social media accounts.

“This retraction is part of a settlement reached with Michael Cohen. Mr. Avenatti has denied making the allegations. OAN apologizes to Mr. Cohen for any harm the publication may have caused him,” the network said.

Trump is in court for a hush money case in New York. He is accused of falsifying business records to hide a payment made to Daniels shortly before the 2016 presidential election.
