President Trump trip to Camp David reportedly canceled

President Trump has called off his plan to take a trip to Camp David, CNN has reported, citing "a source familiar with the plans."

The outlet also noted that according to a source the trip had been on the president's calendar prior to the breach of the U.S. Capitol that occurred on Wednesday.

"Earlier Thursday a White House official told CNN that the President had planned to be away for the weekend, and a temporary flight restriction from the Federal Aviation Administration had been in place over the presidential retreat beginning Friday — meaning civilian aircraft are directed not to fly over the area," the outlet reported. 

"A separate source familiar with the President’s schedule says this trip to Camp David was on Trump's calendar, prior to Wednesday's siege of the US Capitol," CNN said.
