Trump, co-defendant Nauta plead not guilty to newest classified documents charges
Additionally, the arraignment for co-defendant Carlos De Oliveira was postponed.
Former President Donald Trump and his co-defendant, his valet Walt Nauta, pleaded not guilty on Thursday to the latest charges brought against them in the federal classified documents probe.
The arraignment for co-defendant Carlos De Oliveira, the property manager of Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, was postponed because he still does not have a Florida-based lawyer as required, CNN reported.
Special counsel Jack Smith brought additional charges against Trump and Nauta and indicted De Oliveria late last month over the alleged mishandling of classified materials.
Trump and Nauta had both already pleaded not guilty to the original charges brought against them in the probe.
