Trump to call in to Virginia rally as Old Dominion appears competitive

GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump announced Friday that he would be call into a Virginia rally hosted by Gov. Glenn Youngkin, R, and Republican National Convention Chairwoman Lara Trump on Saturday.
"I will be calling in to Glenn’s Rally with Lara Trump tomorrow morning to talk about this crazy Ruling, and announce my final stop in Virginia before Election Day," Trump wrote on the social media platform, X.
A federal judge in Virginia on Friday ordered the commonwealth to place non-citizens back on its voter rolls. The judge ruled that removing the registered voters from the rolls violated federal law, WRIC reported.
Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares (R) posted on X a statement svowing to appeal the decision.
"Sleepy Joe Biden and Comrade Kamala Harris ridiculously accuse me of wanting to “weaponize” the Justice Department, when they have done all of the weaponizing," Trump's post on X reads.
Virginia has not backed a Republican for president since 2004, though some polling has suggested the state could be more competitive in the November contest.
