Trump calls Biden student loan bailout 'another election enhancing money grab'

Former President Trump on Thursday blasted President Biden for forgiving student loans, arguing it was an election season ploy while the Americans are struggling with "crippling inflation."

"Joe Biden and the Radical Left Democrats have just orchestrated another election enhancing money grab, this time to the tune of $300,000,000,000 – and just like I predicted, it’s coming right out of the pocket of the working-class Americans who are struggling the most!" Trump said in a fundraising letter.

"Crippling inflation, unaffordable energy prices, and WAR – all things that should never have happened."

President Biden announced Wednesday that his administration plans on forgiving up to $20,000 in student loans for Pell Grant recipients and up to $10,000 in loans for those who did not receive a pell grant.
