Trump blasts ‘Comrade Kamala,’ says Democrat’s economic policies will make America communist
Former president used rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., to contrast his policies with Kamala Harris.
Former President Donald Trump used a rally Saturday night in the crucial battleground of Pennsylvania to attack his Democrat rival’s economic policies, telling voters “Comrade Kamala” would move America toward communism and the sort of failure that sunk the Soviet Union.
“In her speech yesterday, Kamala went full communist. You heard that? She went full communist," Trump told a rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., where he contrasted his policies with those of Vice President Harris.
“Comrade Kamala announced that she wants to institute socialist price controls. You saw that? Never worked before," he said. "This is the Maduro plan in Venezuela, the Maduro plan of the old Soviet Union,” he said, referencing the Venezuelan strongman Nicolas Maduro.
The former president noted that Harris in the past has said she would get rid of private health insurance in favor of a single payer plan and provide free healthcare to illegal aliens.
“Kamala Harris wants to eliminate private health insurance and give free tax-payer funded healthcare to every single illegal alien in this country,” he Told the crowd. “And then you wonder, why do they come up? You know why they come up? Because guys like [California Governor Gavin] Newsom and others are saying, ‘Come up. Come to our country, we will give you health care.'”
Trump said he would return more money to voters’ pockets by ending taxation on tips and Social Security and cutting the size of government.
"Vote Trump and your incomes, your savings will grow, young people will be able to afford a home, and we will bring back the American dream,” he said.
The former president also alleged Harris would award illegals with citizenship while he would launch “the largest deportation operation in American History, starting at noon on Inauguration Day 2025.”
