Trump calls Dick Cheney 'irrelevant' after former VP backs Kamala Harris
Trump referred to Cheney as the king of "endless, nonsensical wars."
Former President Donald Trump called former GOP Vice President Dick Cheney "irrelevant" after he threw his support behind Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
"Dick Cheney is an irrelevant RINO, along with his daughter, who lost by the largest margin in the History of Congressional Races!" Trump wrote on TRUTH Social.
He went on to refer to Cheney as the king of "endless, nonsensical wars."
Cheney on Friday put his endorsement behind Harris, saying that he loved his country more than partisanship, which is why Harris would be getting his vote.
“As citizens, we each have a duty to put the country above partisanship to defend our Constitution,” Cheney said, according to The Hill.
Trump said in his TRUTH Social post that “I am the Peace President, and only I will stop World War III!”
