Trump campaign launches 'Parents for Trump' coalition
Parents' rights has become a huge issue in the United States that many Republican candidates have run on.
Former President Donald Trump's campaign launched on Thursday the "Parents for Trump" coalition to bring together parents of America who support the 45th president.
"OFFICIAL LAUNCH: Parents for Trump," the campaign wrote on X, the platform previously called Twitter. "Sign up TODAY to explore new content and join a community of parents like you."
According to the website, the purpose of the coalition is to "to advance the principles of limited government, personal liberty, fiscal responsibility, and a brighter future where parents have the tools and support they need to secure a brighter future for their children."
The site also has merchandise and options to help people register to vote.
Parents' rights has become a huge issue in the United States that many Republican candidates have run on, promising to protect school choice and getting more conservative voices on school boards.
Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis, another high-profile Republican presidential candidate, also has a coalition for parents led by his wife titled "Mamas for DeSantis."
