Former President Donald Trump canceled a planned appearance at a kosher deli in New York after its owner unexpectedly died of a heart attack.
Shalom Yosef Gottlieb, 75, died Thursday of a heart attack after contracting pneumonia, the New York Post reported.
Trump had been slated to visit Gottlieb's in Brooklyn before departing the Big Apple.
He is expected to speak at a "Fighting Antisemitism in America" event in Washington, D.C., on Thursday evening.
That event will see Trump appear with Jewish leaders, including Dr. Miriam Adelson, to discuss the issue.
