Trump celebrates election victory, slams 'Radical Left Lunatics' in Thanksgiving Day message
In his holiday message, Trump promises to all: “you will be, more than ever before, proud to be American.”
President-elect Donald Trump wished the country a Happy Thanksgiving on Thursday, slamming “Radical Left Lunatics” and celebrating his “landslide victory.”
“Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump posted to his social media platform, Truth Social.
“Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!” he added.
The message echoes Trump’s recent argument that the 2024 electorate delivered him a historic mandate. Earlier this month, the president-elect won the popular vote for the first time and secured a comfortable victory in the electoral college by sweeping all seven swing states.
Though slamming his political opponents, Trump has also continued to promise that he would deliver results for all Americans.
“This is a moment like nobody’s ever seen before. Frankly, this was, I believe, the greatest political movement of all time,” Trump told supporters at his campaign watch party on election night.
“And now, it’s going to reach a new level of importance because we’re going to help our country heal,” Trump added. “We have a country that needs help, and it needs help very badly. We’re going to fix our borders; we’re going to fix everything about our country. We made history for a reason tonight.”
