Trump confirms his son Barron advises him: 'He does like politics'
Barron Trump recently turned 18 and is set to graduate high school next week.
Barron Trump, the youngest son of Donald Trump, often advises his father on political matters, the former president revealed in a Friday interview.
"[H]e does like politics. It’s sort of funny. He’ll tell me sometimes, ‘Dad, this is what you have to do,’” Trump said on the "Kayal and Company" radio show, according to The Hill.
"He’s a senior now in high school, and he’ll be going to college. And you know, a lot of, a lot of these choices of colleges are changing because you see what’s going on in the last month. [President] Biden has totally lost control of the country," he further said.
Barron Trump recently turned 18 and is set to graduate high school next week. Judge Juan Merchan in late April agreed to permit the former president to attend his son's May 17 graduation amid his ongoing criminal trial.
He will also serve as an at-large delegate for Florida in the Republican National Convention, in which his father is expected to receive the GOP's formal nomination.
